Barry Wood has been a resident magician at The Great Foodini’s and The Brook Farm Inn of Magic, and most recently at the Magicopolis magic theater in Santa Monica, California. An extremely versatile performer, Barry performs close-up and stage magic, as well as juggling. When not playing the part of a magician, Barry’s talents earned him membership in the Washington Improvisational Theater Company and Dropping the Cow, an improv comedy troupe he co-founded. As Woodfield the Magician, Barry is a sought after solution for unique family entertainment. About 3 times a month he performs as "Doctor Monocle" at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. as part of the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit®. Barry presented his delightful solo show “Wonders Never Cease” in 2006 at Washington’s Charter Theater.
